Sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are for having everything we have in life. This city has many things to offer, not only to our tourists but also to our community. Sometimes, because of how busy our lives are, we forget about people we take for granted. People who risk their lives to keep us safe. We fail to say a simple "Thank you" to those invisible heroes living among us. Gratitude is something that we should express on any occasion; gratitude is a divine emotion. This is why we chose the Fire Department to start our "giving back to our community," so we provide breakfast to our firefighters every end of the month. Last year, we provided all the ingredients for a special meal during special holidays like Thanksgiving Day or Christmas. We wanted them to have a special gathering at the fire station, considering that many were away from their families.
